A tremor runs down my spine as he unzips the dress and kisses his way down. When he hits the small of my back, he licks against my skin and runs his hands up to my shoulders, forcing the dress to fall. The material pools at my feet, leaving me in nothing but a strapless bra, lace panties, and strappy heels.
He picks me up as if I weigh nothing and lays me across the bed. Something in me snaps, and I move quickly, clawing at his clothes to get him naked. He helps me get his shirt off and kicks off his own socks and shoes. When I reach for his belt, his large hand covers mine and tightens.
“This is my turn, babe.” Without another word, he holds my hips in place as he kisses his way down my body, whispering sweet words. The heat of his breath against my flesh almost causes my undoing. I want this man more than I’ve wanted anything in my life.
When his mouth hits my belly button, his hands inch my panties slowly down my legs. The wait is agonizing until he sucks lightly at the sensitive skin on both my upper thighs. As soon as his tongue sweeps along my slick center, I whimper. My hands glide through his silky hair, pulling him closer. He pinches my ass, thrusting his tongue as deep as possible.
My hips tilt and legs fall open, giving him complete access.

When our eyes lock, I stop breathing. His stare is deep. The normal bright, beautiful blue is dark and intense. He makes a point to lick, unhurriedly, watching my reaction. His tongue circles my lips, teasing me. Then he kisses the same path until I start to tremble.
As hard as I try, I can’t stop my eyes from closing. He feasts on me as I squirm and pant, trying to hold back. His teeth lightly nip my clit, forcing feelings of to ecstasy flow. As soon as his finger slips in, I scream his name, coming apart against his lips. Waves of extreme pleasure take over, setting my nerve endings on fire.
He doesn’t ease up, sucking me in further. My vision goes spotty, and I grip his sheets tightly, trying to come down from my high. His hands roam up my torso and slip around to undo my bra before he throws it to the ground.
His moist lips kiss a path along my collarbone, stopping at the column of my throat.
“Fucking unbelievable,” he murmurs against my skin. “Your body is made for me.”

Ember- She’s one tough cookie! She’s had the most horrible life growing up. Somehow she survived through all the mental and emotional damage caused by some certain people in her life. She's strong. She designs dressed for every occasion! So it’s no surprise when a celebrity walks into her store and asks for some help. What she didn't count on was falling in love.
Robbie- An ex-marine with his own baggage to handle. He is tough, smart and all alpha. Once he sees the error of his ways, he knows what to do. He works for his dad’s security company now but when he meets Ember what could possibly go wrong?
This was a really great book. I was told it was a stand alone novel so I went I in without knowing what had happened in the other books. I felt like I needed to read the other ones just to understand a little more of the characters and what events had happened in the past.
Ember’s and Robbie’s story is Magical! It’s one about love, trust, devotion, emotion and dedication to one another. It even made me cry and I haven't done that (with a book) In a long time. I would recommend reading the others first but if you want you can read it as a standalone.
I do hope we get to see Tripp and his story as well.
