Okay so I am just going to do one review for all 3 books.
The whole series is great. The basis is Kenzie is a speech therapist at a school and loves what she does. She works mainly with autistic kids to improve their communication skills and is very committed to "her kids". She goes through some really terrible crap and is in a bad place slowly pulling herself out of the black hole.
Then she sees this super hot guy on the beach. For the first time in a very long time she feels something other than sadness and anger. Turns out Hot Guy is her best friends boyfriend.
Drew is a lawyer and is also suffering. He decides meaningless girlfriends are the way to go. Kenzie's best friend Olivia is his current multiple night stand. He keeps it mainly just sex with the occasional event or dinner. Then he won't be invested enough to get hurt again. He meets Kenzie and they become very close friends. I will tell you that physical cheating does not happen.
Many different things come to pass. There are fights and tears and leaving and sadness. Then happy times, crazy times, sexy times, and funny times. More fights, tears, and sadness. Lots more sexy times, some lying and hiding things and then we finally get the HEA we well deserve!!!
