This is book 2 in the Mustang Prairie series. Each book can be read as a stand alone but you'll see many of the same characters throughout each story and meet new residents from one book to the next!

Alexis is a very independent girl with a distaste for the life of the rich and shameless. Yes she has money, but she doesn't flaunt it and she surely doesn't let people dictate how she lives because of it. Rich men have proven to be controlling and inconsiderate. Alex has made up her mind.... Rich men are off her dating list for good.

Braxton is a mover and a shaker in the business world. He can get pretty much anyone to make a business deal and has no problem with the ladies either. He hates the trapping that come with money including the gold diggers and suck ups. All he wants is to live his life with out all of the necessary crap. 

Alexis was my favorite character in book 1 so I was happy to read her story. I thought she was a little judgmental and hypocritical but I get it. I was disappointed with some missing info but it was an all around good book.

Noel Hampton is not happy about moving from NYC to the speck of a town called Mustang Prairie. But if he wants to make VP of KitchenMart he'll go and he will make it work. But when he encounters a petite spitfire hellbent on standing in his way, Noel finds there is more to life than career advancement.

This is Book 1 in the Mustang Prairie Romance series but each book can be read as a standalone story...no cliffhangers!

Conflict of Interest 3.75 star review

To start this book we have Shellie. She is a "business fixer" and is determined to make her beloved town of Mustang Prairie flourish under the umbrella of small businesses and keep all cooperate bloodhounds away. 

Shellie is sweet and lovable but very insecure and honestly a little whiny. 

We also have Noel. He is a "cooperate drone" and loves what he does. His whole life has been on a plan and he is working his was to the top. Nothing will stop him from achieving his dreams. Not even a women. Especially not a tree hugging, protesting crazy woman. 

I loved the premise and the writing was done well. I loved all of the characters but Shellie was a little too self depreciating and whiny. I still really liked the book. It's a good summer read with some really good sexy times.

Hey I'm Natasha and I love stories. I love to read them, to watch them and most of all I love to write them. I find people endlessly fascinating and frustrating, which makes for the most interesting stories!

I also love politics and true crime so in addition to writing romance, I also write political satire. It has been my dream to make a living as a writer since I was a kid and got lost in Judy Blume, The Babysitter's Club and Sweet Valley High (is my age showing?!?!). When I'm not writing I can be found engaging in one-sided conversations with Rachel Maddow, singing very loudly very badly and trying out new cuisines from around the world.

I love to laugh, I gave my husband a sappy pet name and I think answers to most of life's dilemma's can be found in an episode of Dawson's Creek.

My first series, Mustang Prairie, is small town romance because I feel they offer a variety of fun characters whose lives are interconnected. It is based loosely on my college town, which was the smallest town I've ever lived in...Go Panthers!

Currently I'm living in Germany so I can see Europe but by the time my next book comes out...who 
knows where I'll be!!!!
